My goal is to use my talent as an artist to tell your story with captured memories in the form of a photograph. By the end of our time together, you will have precious memories to share with friends and family. AJB Photography will not sacrifice quality for quantity. Quality photography is an investment for you and your family.
My photographic style is unique. I photograph in a documentary style. That is, a style in which I will photograph unobtrusively, with little to no posing. Moments are undisturbed and captured. Most of the time, without you even knowing. I prefer to shoot without a studio in a natural setting. I will suggest a location or I can come to your home where you'll feel more comfortable.
Please allow at least one hour for most portrait photography. Sometimes the session may go very quickly or we may need a little extra time. Babies and children will require longer as they need to get used to the surroundings and because of time for feedings and fussiness.
People often ask what they should wear for their photo shoot. I recommend solid colors and nothing with a busy pattern. For babies, a plain white onesie or just a diaper. Toddlers and children should wear comfortable clothing.
You; your friends and family may view the photo session online and place print orders directly through a company called Shutterfly. The final prints will be shipped to whomever is placing the order. In addition to prints you may also order greeting cards, and DVD collages of your photography session. When I photograph your event I will edit and create a gallery of your images through Shutterfly. I will then release the event to you so that you may view your images online and share with friends and family. Every gallery is password protected.
